"Jo has done an amazing job turning a blank canvas into a life-like watercolour of my two buns, from the sparkle in Thors eye to Hercys grumpy face, she has got the detail  just right. I gave her a picture taken from a mobile and what we received was nothing short of spectacular. She was always in contact and incredibly professional throughout and we will definitely be in contact for another of our newest baby buns when they grow up a little. Thank you so much for everything."

How I Create Your Rabbit's Portrait

Beginning with your favourite photos

I work from your photos, so even if you're not local I can still create a beautiful painting of your rabbit. It's important to provide a high quality reference photo so that I can paint every small detail of your bouncy, beloved bunny.

Capturing their features & personality

From their cute bunny noses and ears to the softest fur textures, I hand-paint the details that make your rabbit so adorably one-of-a-kind.

Hand-painted in my home studio

Each portrait is carefully created in Lincolnshire using high-quality watercolour paints & paper for lasting vibrancy.

Carefully packaged & delivered

Your portrait is securely packaged to arrive safely. I deliver across the UK & internationally - just contact me for an up-to-date quote if ordering from abroad.

Your Rabbit Portrait Questions

Here are a few quick answers to common questions about my Rabbit pet portraits. If there’s anything else you’d like to know, just ask — I’m always happy to help.

Rabbits can be a little tricky to photograph, so take your time and try a few different shots. Natural daylight works best because it shows their true colours and markings clearly. If possible, get down to their eye-level or gently place them on a table so you can photograph them more easily.

Here's what helps most:

  • Soft, natural light (near a window or outdoors) - avoid flash.

  • Eye-level photos to capture their expression and shape.

  • Several angles such as straight on, slight side angle, and a close up of the face.

  • Clear, unfiltered images so I can see details accurately.

You're always welcome to send me a selection of photos, and I'll happily help you choose the one that will make the best portrait.

Yes, absolutely! Even if you don't have a photo of your rabbits together, I can paint them side by side in a natural, balanced composition. Simply send separate photos of each rabbit, and I'll help position them so the final watercolour portrait looks harmonious and captures each of their personalities.

Yes, I can. Memorial portraits are a meaningful way to remember a much-loved rabbit. You can send any photos you have, and I'll help you choose the best reference. My aim is to create a gentle, expressive watercolour that honours their personality and keeps their memory close.

Definitely! If you'd like a portrait that includes your rabbit alongside another pet - such as a guinea pig or cat - simply send me clear photos of each and I'll create a harmonious composition with balanced proportions.
