"We commissioned Jo to paint a watercolour memorial portrait of our beloved cat, and the result was truly beautiful.
She captured not only the likeness but also the gentle personality and spirit we remember so fondly. It’s a piece we will treasure forever."

"We had just lost our beloved dog Mac and I longed for a portrait to remember him by.
Jo was kind and caring throughout the process. She created a portrait which captures not just Macs exact appearance, but more importantly his character. My heartfelt thanks"

A recent memorial painting of Mac (review above). Mac's owners didn't have many photos of him but I was still able to capture his spirit in this large 10"x10" custom pet portrait.

Many people commission a memorial pet portrait as a thoughtful, supportive gift for a friend or family member who has lost a pet. Having something physical, full of character and detail, can keep their presence close.
With my small portraits beginning at just £95, I provide an affordable option for commemorating a beloved pet.

Here are a few quick answers to common questions about how to order a memorial pet portrait. If there’s anything else you’d like to know, just ask — I’m always happy to help.
You can send as many photos as you like - they don't need to be perfect. For memorial commissions, people often choose the photo that feels the most like their pet, even if its a slightly older photo.
I'll help you decide which image will work best for the painting, and I can combine details from more than one photo if needed. The most important thing is that the portrait captures their personality.
The time depends on the size and the level of detail, but memorial portraits are usually completed within a week.
However, its important to bear in mind that I might have a waiting list and so the earlier you get in touch, the better (especially around busy periods such as Christmas).
Yes - memorial portraits can be personalised however you wish. If there's a favourite toy, collar, or small detail you'd like included, just let me know.
These subtle touches often make the portrait feel even more meaningful.
