A little About Me
Hi, I'm Jo, a UK-based pet portrait artist specialising in watercolour.
I live near the beautiful cathedral city of Lincoln, where I share my home with a very mischievous yet utterly adorable miniature Poodle called Jasper.
I create detailed watercolour pet portraits, with careful attention to capture your pet's likeness, expression and personality.
My Story
From watercolour landscapes at 11 years old to painting pet portrait commissions for customers worldwide.
I have loved drawing and painting ever since I was a child. My dad first introduced me to watercolours when I was just 11 years old, sparking a lifelong passion for the medium. Now, at 38, I have been drawing and painting pet portraits for over 15 years, creating beautiful paintings for customers across the UK and worldwide. Some of the destinations I have sent portraits to include New York, Milan and Pennsylvania in the USA.
Pets have always been a part of my life, so I understand just how important they are in yours.
I share a deep, personal understanding of the bond we share with our animals. I have loved and lost my own companions, like our beautiful Border Collie, Rosie.
That is why I know just how much a pet portrait means! Whether you want to celebrate a living companion or deeply honour a beloved pet who has passed away, I will treat your precious memories with the utmost sensitivity and meticulous care from start to finish.

I made friends with a Robin in the garden this summer (2026). I'd love to paint him one day!
