Which Size Portrait to Choose?

Small | 6"x6" or 6"x8"

My small portraits are a lovely choice if you're looking for a more affordable keepsake or a thoughtful gift.

They are only suitable for one pet, either head and shoulders or a small full-body study.

Medium | 8"x10" or 8"x12"

My most popular size - particularly lovely for a single subject, detailed head and shoulders or a small full-body portrait.

It is also suitable for two pets and will capture their head and shoulders side by side.

Large | 12"x16"

Ideal if you would like several pets together, a full-body composition maintaining plenty of detail, or simply want your portrait to make a big impact.

Why are two sizes shown for small and medium portraits?

Sometimes a slightly different format will work better for a particular photograph. Once I see yours, I'll advise you on which option will best suit your pet and the composition.

Paying For Your Pet Portrait

Deposit Information

A 25% deposit is required before I begin work on your portrait. This secures your place and covers the time and materials involved in creating your painting. The deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced, so please make sure you’re happy with my painting style before booking.

If you change your mind before I start your portrait, I’m very happy to refund your deposit.

Final Payment

Once I begin painting, I’ll keep you updated throughout the process. I’m always happy to listen to your thoughts and make adjustments where possible if you’d like something to look a little different. My aim is for you to love your finished portrait and feel that it truly captures your pet.

Please bear in mind that once the portrait is nearing completion, changes may be limited by the work already carried out. I'll always do my best to accommodate your wishes, so keeping in touch throughout the process is the best way for us to make sure we're heading in the right direction.

When your portrait is complete, I’ll send you final photographs to approve. Once you’re happy with the finished painting, I’ll request the remaining balance, with the delivery cost added to the final payment as discussed in our initial conversations.

If, for any reason, I'm unable to complete your commission due to circumstances on my side, any payments you've made will be refunded in full.

I deliver all hand-painted watercolour pet portraits safely across the UK and internationally.

UK DELIVERY: Between £10-£15 depending on the size.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY: Prices vary depending on location, please get in touch for a quote.

Portraits are delivered unframed to prevent any damage but are carefully packaged to arrive safely.

To care for the environment as much as your memories, I am committed to reducing waste. Where possible, I reuse strong, high-quality packaging materials from art supplies to reduce waste while still making sure your portrait arrives safely.

Are frames included?

Portraits are supplied unframed and carefully packaged for delivery. If you'd like some advice on choosing a frame, I'm always happy to offer suggestions on what would work well with your portrait.

Is postage included?

I like to keep my prices transparent so rather than hide a delivery cost within my portrait cost, I keep it separate.

UK delivery is typically £10-15, while international delivery is quoted individually.

Can I have more than one pet in my portrait?

Yes! Medium and large portraits can include additional pets for an extra charge. I can also work from separate photos if you don't have a suitable one of both pets together.

Can I request a different size?

Yes. If none of the standard sizes feel quite right, just get in touch to discuss a custom size.
