• Portraits are unframed so you can choose a frame to suit your home.
• I recommend using a mount and UV-protective glass for the best longevity. 
• A professional framer can really elevate the finished look of your pet portrait, using mounts that compliment the portrait and various finishes that suit your home.
• A professional framing service will use materials that will prevent your portrait from fading over time or from being damaged by environmental factors.

I use only the highest quality materials when creating pet portraits in watercolour, from archival paper to light-fast paints which keep their vibrancy for 100 years+

However, to ensure longevity of your custom pet portraits:

• Avoid hanging your artwork in direct sunlight, to preserve colours. 
• Avoid placing in damp or humid rooms
• Do not place in areas of excessive temperature - Avoid hanging near a fireplace or above a radiator
