My name is Jo and I'm a UK-based pet portrait artist working my from home in Lincolnshire. I specialise in hand-painted watercolours that don't just look like your pet, but capture the unique character and personality that make them so special.

Creating a beautifully detailed custom portrait starts with the perfect reference photo.

I work directly from your favourite photos. To help me capture the true character, unique markings, and spirit of your pet, it is important that your images are:


  • Clear and taken in a well-lit environment
  • Taken close up without cropping important details
  • True to their features and character

Don't worry if you're not sure which photos to send...

I'll be there to advise you on which will be the best to work from and even have a detailed photo guide.

Tell me a little bit about your pet/s and the style of portrait you're looking for. You can share your initial ideas at this stage alongside any preferred completion dates for special occassions.

Share your favourite photos and we will decide on the best size and composition together. I can easily combine separate photos into one portrait if you have multiple pets.

Once your booking is confirmed with a 25% deposit, I will begin creating your custom portrait. I take my time to capture the true character of your pet and will send you updates along the way.

When complete, I'll send you a final photo update for your approval. Once you are completely happy, your finished portrait is securely packaged and posted to your home.
